Saltys Dilon Hancock is a 2002 blue roan son of Lazy M Salty Blue. He carries the great Hancock foundation pedigree of his sire and the foundation pedigree of his dam, Leohan Ginger, that includes the Hancock, Leo, Poco Bueno and Oakie bloodlines.
He is a true blue roan with four black feet. Like his sire, he has an awesome personality and is very easy to handle. He really looks a lot like a younger version of Salty. Dilon stands 15.1 hands and weighs over 1100 lbs and is still growing.
He is registered with both AQHA and NFQHA being 91% foundation bred. He tested positive as being homozygous for the black gene and to date the foals registered to him in AQHA have been roans. We are hoping that he will be a consistent roan producer like his sire.
