Most of our mares are blue roan and bay roan and carry the American Quarter horse Foundation bloodlines of Joe Hancock, Buck Hancock, Red Man, Blue Valentine, Baldy Joe, Blue Dart Reed, Apache Joe, Lowry Hancock, Plenty Coup, Plenty Try, Gooseberry, Blue Boy Hancock, Hancocks Blueboy, Wimpy, Leo, Two Eyed Jack, King, Poco Bueno and Doc Bar.
Every year we breed our blue roan stallion, "Salty" to a select number of outside mares. So if you want a blue roan foal let us know.
We are raising Joe Hancock, Blue Valentine and Hancock cross foundation bred quarter horses. Horses that are not only "user friendly" but have that unique blue roan and bay roan color. All of our babies are handled every day of their life. We feel that the hands on approach produces a more people friendly horse, a horse that is eager to please and in turn is easy to train. That is why we are sold on Hancock horses. They not only have the bone and muscle needed for stamina but they have the willingness and ability to get the job done. That is why Hancock horses are such great performance horses and have proved it over the years, Blue Valentine, a blue roan grandson of Joe Hancock, was an excellent steer tripping and roping horse. He is the sire of many world class rodeo and working horses. Traits that still make his bloodlines so popular today.
We are located in northwest Florida, three miles from the AL border, outside the small town of Bonifay FL. We are thirty miles from Dothan, AL and sixty miles from Panama City FL. Come see us. We love having visitors and exchanging horse stories.
